I wanted to let everyone know that there are two races in Albuquerque disigned for top sportman type cars. Blowers, turbos, NOS, anything goes.
Basics: 8 car qualified field. Heads up racing (1st to finish line wins). Must run 8.99 or better to qualify. $1000 to win, $700 RU, $500 Semis, $300 1st round loser. $100 best burnout.
Memorial Day weekend May 24 and 25 (qualify on Sat race on Sun), and Aug 2 (qual and race on Sat)
$150 entry (driver and 1 crew) entry fee waived for 200+ mile tow.
Elevation of track is about 5200 ft. Track is now owned by racers and track prep has been great.
