 Judd set to consolidate championship lead
(2-8-2010) APPLECROSS, WA – Perth-based Top Doorslammer drag racer, Robin Judd, will look to consolidate his Australian championship series lead at next weekend’s (February 12-13) seventh annual Summernationals at the Sydney Dragway.
For the first time in his 10-year professional Group One drag racing career, Judd, a Chartered Accountant, will go into an event leading the 2009/2010 ANDRA Pro Series Top Doorslammer championship with 315 points, 50 points ahead of Maurice Fabietti (265pts).
Judd will also be looking for his third-straight event win after winning the 2009 (September) Australian Nationals in Sydney then the (November) Goldenstates in Perth.

(2-8-2010) UNION, SC – During the week of January 25th, 2010, Team Aruba traveled from their home base in Union, SC to Bradenton, Florida. On their way there they stopped near Orlando to pick up the driver of the www.Aruba.com Pro Stock race car, Trevor Eman, who attends the University of Central Florida (UCF) in Orlando.
At the Bradenton track testing started on Tuesday the 26th of January 2010. The race car and motor were completely revised during the off-season.  Humphreys claims Pro Stock Showdown; Horsley, Dawson, Uechi score Supreme Sportsman Series wins
(2-7-2010) LAS VEGAS, NV – Justin Humphreys of Monrovia, Md., won today's rain-delayed Pro Stock Showdown over Johnny Gray at The Strip at Las Vegas Motor Speedway. Heavy rain caused the competition to be postponed from Saturday to Sunday. Humphreys ran 6.794 sec./204.05 mph as Gray coasted across the finish line at 77 mph.
In Super Comp, Jack Freckman (Woodacre, Calif.) took home the $5,000 winner's check over Jeff Blackwell.
Brad Plourd of Maple Valley, Wash., scored $5,000 by defeating Dan Thomas of Overton, Nev., in the Stock/Super Stock Combo class.

(2-7-2010) SYLVANIA WATERS, NSW – Mike Janis left his Buffalo, NY area home headed for Sydney on Wednesday February 3rd, 25 hours later he landed in Sydney, New South Wales, Australia. “It’s a long trip but it’s still less time than the haul to Edmonton that cost me two IHRA titles,” laughed Janis.
Janis had hoped to get behind the wheel of Sean Mifsud’s Wild Willy Top Doorslammer and make some passes on the weekend prior to the Summernationals, but Mother Nature has had other plans. (2-7-2010) LAS VEGAS, NV – Second-generation racer, Shane Gray has officially joined the Pro ranks earning his Pro Stock license during the Pro Stock Showdown at The Strip at Las Vegas Motor Speedway. With the ink still wet on his license, Gray will make his debut at the 50th annual Kragen O'Reilly Auto Parts NHRA Winternationals presented by Valvoline, at the Auto Club Raceway at Pomona.  Tight and tough 16-car Pro Stock field for Summernationals
(2-6-2010) EASTERN CREEK, NSW – Next weekend’s 2010 Summernationals (February 12 – 13 at Sydney Dragway) will feature the biggest lineup of Pro Stock cars to ever attempt qualifying for an ANDRA Pro Series Event.
As the entry list currently stands, there are 19 entrants for the event.
Without doubt, this category is on a surge and provides incredibly close racing.
Additionally, there are at least four cars that normally compete that are not present at this meeting. There are still a number of new cars that are in the final stages of build or are on the water making their way to their new owners in Australia.  PMRA, Quick 32 Sportsman Series announce 2010 season schedule
(2-5-2010) CAYUGA, ON – Events for the upcoming Pro Modified Racing Association and the Quick 32 Sportsman Series have been established.
Racing for 2010 gets underway in Cayuga, Ontario at Toronto Motorsports Park for the Victoria Day Weekend with the PMRA Pro Modifieds and the Quick 32 Sportsman Series presented by NAPA Auto Parts.
The Quick 32 Sportsman Series teams will make their first visit to the Grand Bend Motorplex for the season June 25-27 at the RPM Magazine Media/Family Weekend event.
